The objectives of the Council are patriotic allegiance to the United States; fidelity to its constitution and laws; the security of civil liberty; and the permanence of free institution. The CCVC shall:
1. Work with veterans’ organizations and other agencies serving veterans to develop a uniform protective program for veterans, their spouses, widows/widowers, minor children, and dependent parents.
2. Promote a better understanding of the problems and needs of veterans and their families, and how to seek out those government agencies responsible to help with such problems and needs.
3. Promote better communication between all veterans and the various government agencies providing services to veterans.
4. Develop a more effective method of seeking out veterans needing assistance, including rehabilitation, training, employment and guide veterans to the proper agencies.
5. Support the Oklahoma Veterans Council in its mission to represent veterans and lobby both state and federal legislators. To ensure that all veterans and their dependents receive all benefits to which they are entitled.
